Race Overview

Explore distances, rules, and what to expect before taking on this coastwise capital challenge.

A nighttime scene of a high-end touring bike fully outfitted for ultra-distance racing, parked beside a reflective road sign that reads “Next Services 60 Miles” on a remote stretch of two-lane highway. The bike is loaded with compact frame, seat, and handlebar bags, each bearing small reflective “Capital Coast” tags. Its front dynamo light casts a controlled cone of white light onto the road, while a steady red rear light glows. The sky is ink-black, dotted with stars, with a faint suggestion of the Milky Way. Photographic realism with dramatic low-key lighting, shot from a low three-quarter angle, creating a mood of determination, isolation, and the challenge of overnight riding on a 1300+ mile course.
